A market built around the flavours of Trentino
Di Gusto in Gusto turns Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza Cesare Battisti into a small food village. The organiser describes local produce, regional dishes, drinks and an accompanying programme. It is the strongest choice in this group if your ideal outing combines a lakeside walk with something warm to eat.
The town remains worth exploring beyond the stalls: leave time for the old harbour and waterfront, but remember that winter daylight and weather are different from a summer lake day.

2026 opening dates and hours
The first listed opening is Friday 13 November 2026. The official table continues on selected dates through 6 January 2027, with varying hours; do not assume the market opens every day or at the same time. Check your exact date on the official event page before travelling.
A late-afternoon visit can combine the waterfront with the illuminated centre, but allow extra time for the return drive to Cares after dark.

Getting there from Cares
Use a live driving route from Casa Regina 21 to a public car park in Riva and check any temporary traffic restrictions. The market occupies central squares, so plan to walk the final stretch rather than navigating directly to a stall.
If you want a longer Garda day, our separate Riva and Varone guide helps you compare other stops. Keep a market visit flexible: event hours, parking and weather should decide the final plan.
